We carry a vast product line that includes hardwood, softwood lumber, and array of specialty products such as high pressure laminates, high gloss, melamine, solid surfaces, siding, decking and other building materials.
Royal Plywood primarily serves the architect, design communities, woodworkers, construction industry, cabinetry fabricators and millwork manufacturers.
We've also expanded our product line to include architectural hardwood carvings, concrete forms, composites, decking, decorative metals and plastics, fiberglass reinforced panels, fire and pressure treated woods. Royal also offers environmentally friendly products, fully compliant with FSC (r) standards.
In order to match market growth and to keep pace with the growing commercial demand, we've prepared for the future by expanding our operations and inaugurating several new facilities in Sacramento California, Las Vegas Nevada, Chandler Arizona and most recently our acquisition of California Custom Milling.

Royal Plywood Company was founded in 1961 by Jerry Huisken, as a wholesale distributor of panel products in the Southern California area. At that time, his focus was primarily on commodity items, selling to the building trade including industrial accounts. In 1999, Mr. Huisken elected to retire and sold the company.
Royal was already an extremely successful company, but still had a huge potential for growth within the industry. Rather than to sell to a large chain, he kept it as an independent company, forming what is now Royal Plywood Co, LLC.
With Royal’s state of the art facility and a portfolio of products, the primary focus was on growing beyond just plywood. They expanded product lines, grew the sales force and doubled the annual volume of the company.
Today Royal Plywood continues to expand their catalogue of panels and building materials while also active developing Royal Resource an AI powered mobile app sourcing application.
