Particleboard is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood particles, such as wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even saw dust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded. Particleboard is a type of fiberboard, a composite material, and is considered post-industrial (pre-consumer) recycled content.
Fire-Rated Particleboard Panels are classified by Underwriters Laboratories for surface burning characteristics using the UL 723 Test Method. This FR panel is retardant throughout, stays classified after cutting, and has a wide range of sizes available.
Moisture Resistant panels are ideally suited for kitchen, bath and laboratory cabinets, and applications with high humidity and incidental moisture content.
We offer particleboard in both fir and pine fibers that are CARB compliant, NAUF andFSC certified.
